Hi all,

So here is my problem . I have a dell 1558 which I turned off the night and later when I turned it on the display looked wierd . It didn't got hit or anything .After further investigation I can have display via VGA port . Did not check HDMI but I guess it will work too . I was able to boot a fully functional Linux on the laptop and was getting display from VGA cable to my monitor .So I like to know does that mean is a bad gpu (which is integrated into mainboard) or a bad display ? Any way I can narrow it down ?

Please help.
