Hi all,

I have a Dell laptop that looks like dead. When i plug in the ac adapter into the laptop the light will turn off without touching anything. In order to be functional again i have to unplug it and plug in again. I tried to test the output of the ac adapter and it gives me 19.5 volts.My question is how to test the resistance of dc jack because for me its looks like a short circuit dc jack.

Please help.

I did not find the right solution from the internet.
