I installed Helicon Remote today on my notebook, for trying out the product with my Canon T3i. This is a Vaio portable (VGN-P630A/Q), with a 1600x768 screen, and latest drivers from Intel for the GMA 500 chip, running Windows 7 Home Premium. When I start Helicon Remote, I get an error message telling me that "my PC is lacking a proper video driver". I am not sure what is going on - sure, it isn't a 3D capable video chip, and the processor of the portable is just an Atom, but I intend to save all photos directly on the camera's memory card, and the available processing power should certainly be good enough to exchange control commands with the T3i over the USB connection. Am I missing something here, and if, what? Also, I am thinking about purchasing a "Pro" license, as long as I can get the program working. Am I allowed to install/activate the software on both my desktop and portable? I am the only user of both computers, work from home, live alone, etc.

I've been using a Firestudio Project interface for more than a year now with my ASUS Republic of Gamers laptop. It took some work to get it running, and a couple of dongles to go from firewire to Thunderbolt 3, but it was doing fine. I then bought a second FSP on eBay so I could add more inputs. But when I first connected it to the computer it wouldn't sync. The light glowed a steady red. I tried using Device Manager to get the computer to update to the right drivers, but that didn't work. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version of UC and that didn't work either. My original unit would work fine, but not the new one. I even tried uninstalling the latest version of UC and then loading the version that came on the disk with my original FSP, which is how I got that one to work when I bought the new laptop. I contacted tech support, but all they've really done is point me to the articles and procedures I'd already found on the Knowledge Base. Their last suggestion was to install a Firewire card, which really isn't practical in my laptop. Now, after all of this, my laptop doesn't recognize my original FSP either. Instead of seeing it as an audio input it seems to be seeing it as a sound card. That's what was happening with the unit I purchased on eBay too. Any suggestions on how I can get the proper drivers connected to the FSP so I can get the comforting blue light?

My beardie Rey is about 5 or 6 months old and she absolutely loves her salads, she will still eat her bugs but she would rather have her greens. Normally I give her turnip greens with red bell pepper on top, asparagus with plums, and greenbeans and mango, that is pretty much the weekly rotation. I have noticed her stools are pretty watery and loose and I'm wondering if I should cut back on her salad? Any info helps!!

I wasn't sure if you'd have an argument against mult-vitamins that was similar to your argument about artificial fiber sources.I don't really believe everything I hear about how much protein you should be taking in. I've read and heard everything from 1 gram per kg to 1 gram per pound to even higher. I find that two x 2/3 scoops of whey powder and fairly minimal food makes me feel just as good as plenty more. I take enough protein as I need to recover from my workouts in a timely manner and feel good.I ran into a kidney stone a while back when I was supplementing with Tuna fish and whey. The doctors blamed it on the protein.

Several years ago, Dr. Richard Wurtman at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology developed a mixture of three nutrients that seemed to improve memory in rodents by enhancing the connections of neurons in the brain. These nutrients are DHA, choline, and uridine. DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid found in fatty fish and walnuts, and is the most abundant fatty acid in the brain. Choline is a nutrient that is part of the B vitamin family and is found in eggs, nuts and meats. Uridine is a protein molecule that is harder to obtain from foods, but can be found in sugar beets and broccoli.
In 2008, a proprietary blend of these nutrients known as Souvenaid was tested in a group of 225 patients with mild Alzheimer's disease in Europe. Dr. Philip Scheltens, director of the Alzheimer Center at VU University Medical Center in Amsterdam, led this study, which showed that 40 percent of people taking the Souvenaid beverage every day for three months showed an improvement in verbal memory, compared to only 24 percent of people who drank a placebo beverage.

Can someone please tell me how to quickly make the adverts all GO AWAY when I launch Media Monkey.I don't know if it's the latest version update I did recently or whether this was around in previous versions, but as a Gold User of well over 5 years, I find it really frustrating that I should have to look at three large adverts on the MediaMonkey welcome screen. They are flashing and making my eyes hurt.I sometimes log in to my home computer remotely over RDP if I ever need to do some bulk re-tagging of my music collection whilst away from home. When I launch MediaMonkey over RDP this image intensive advertising crap is caning my connection, laggy mouse, accidental click on adverts, bringing up IE (not my default browser), slowing things down, presumably tracking my click as well.NOT HAPPY.Adverts. This is the very reason I moved away from Windows Media Player in the first place. Maybe it's time to go back? I can't figure out where to turn this welcome screen off, disable the ads altogether. Please tell me how to make it go away. Why the hell is it there in the first place?

I have set up a Roku channel in gridview, all the episodes play and look great but my boss wants to have our ads play in the video just like they do on our website. I have been trying to get this to work for the past two weeks, with no leads. I gutted the VAST.XML file that chris posted with his example, took all the tracking out of it, changed the media files to point to our CDN that is holding our Ads. I can not get the video to play midrolls, I have gotten prerolls to work.
I am going to post my video screen code and my local variables, I will also post the Ads.xml files I am using to pull the Ads. I do not want to hard code any of this so that I will be able to update the content of the channel with forcing our viewers to update the app. I have added AdBreak1, AdBreak2, and AdBreak3 elements in my showfeeds xml files, I did this to allow each episode to have it's own break schedule. If you guys could help me getting this playing between my Ad and back to my content it would be great, and then I will be able to create different Ad Pod xml files, which I plan randomize which ad pod is pull each time a episode is watched.
